Led by their visionary CEO, Jerin Jose Nesamony, along with the esteemed CFO Vinod Kumar Thankaraju and COO Sabarinathan Chandran, LezDo TechMed took the forefront in raising awareness about the pressing issue of pollution.

One of their noteworthy endeavors was the sponsorship of an awareness “walkathon” aptly named “Kuppaiyilla Kumari.” The main objective of this event was twofold: to transform Kanyakumari into a Kuppaiyilla  district and to educate the community about the importance of sustainable waste management systems. In a remarkable display of solidarity, LezDo Techmed assumed the role of the program sponsor for the “Kuppaiyilla Kumari” event and procession.

The event garnered considerable support and participation from various prominent figures in the community, including Mano Thangaraj, the Minister of Milk and Dairy Development of Tamil Nadu, and H.R. Koushik I.A.S, the dedicated Sub Collector of Padmanabhapuram. Joining them were esteemed individuals like Jegadev, the public prosecutor of Padmanabhapuram, and Jayanthi James, the president of Kulasekaram Town Panchayat, accompanied by other ward members.

The commendable involvement of both schools and corporate companies lent further strength to the cause. It was heartening to witness such widespread participation, showcasing the collective determination to bring about positive change. The event, which commenced promptly at 6:00 am at Convent Junction in Kulasekharam, spanned a distance of 7 km and concluded at Kalladimaamoodu, another area within the town, at approximately 9:00 am.

The highlight of the procession was undoubtedly Minister Mano Thangaraj’s informative session on waste management, complete with practical demonstrations. His captivating presentation left the attendees elated, armed with a wealth of knowledge and a renewed sense of purpose. The citizens of Kulasekharam were deeply moved by his message, taking a solemn oath to diligently implement the waste management practices in their everyday lives.

The success of the “Kuppaiyilla Kumari” event served as a testament to the power of collective action and community engagement. Through LezDo Techmed’s unwavering commitment and the support of key figures like Minister Mano Thangaraj, the procession made significant strides toward creating a cleaner and healthier environment for the residents of Kulasekharam.

The visual coverage captures the vibrant atmosphere of the procession, with participants of all ages coming together to demonstrate their dedication to a cleaner and greener future. The Dinamani, Dinamalar and Dinathanthi newspapers have given a dedicated coverage to the same.
